Greetings dear Scarfie,
My name is Logan Edgar and I am your 2011 OUSA President. I was elected half way through the year by means of a 'by-election' because the previous President resigned in June. Since taking over I have been exceptionally hard working to ensure I learn the ropes and get up to speed with the goings-on around OUSA. I am convinced that my time in office will be one big learning curve but that's what we are all here at university for, to learn. I believe that what this association needs is to improve engagement with the entire student body and I think to do that OUSA needs to be…well…. Cool. This is something that I have tasked myself as President to achieve. I want to give real value to every one of our student members and make every Scarfie proud to say that they belong to the greatest damn students' association in the country!
With me as your President I will fight for you and not hold back in anyway (which will occasionally land me in hot water I’m sure) if it's in the best interests of the student body. You can sleep soundly knowing that I’ve got your back.
