MINUTES OF THE EMERGENCY OUSA EXECUTIVE MEETING HELD IN THE BOARDROOM OF THE OTAGO UNIVERSITY STUDENTS ASSOCIATION ON SUNDAY MARCH 18 2012 AT 5:10PM.

ELECTION APPEAL AGAINST THE SECRETARY ACCEPTING A NOMINATION
Koszowski/Hernandez
28/12 THAT the election appeal, as submitted to the Executive be declined and they all agreed they would like to see this by-election as a fair and democratic process.

Luff/Pohatu
29/12 THAT the Executive defines a nomination as a proposition and not an endorsement of a candidate and that endorsement is defined as actively campaigning for a candidate.
CARRIED

The Executive then cited 3.11 in the elections policy, and agreed when a new Administrative Vice President is elected there should be a review of the policy and it edited sufficiently.
