The Otago Computing Students Society (OCSS) aims to connect students studying or interested in computing with like-minded students, industry, and the chance for professional development. We strive to focus on offering our members a variety of computing-related opportunities that they may not receive in their academic courses. This means that we run a balance of practical/skill-based and social events. These have previously included BBQs, gaming competitions, BYOs and GitHub workshops in collaboration with the Career Development Centre. Our club is informal, inclusive and open to all students regardless of major. We hope that you will join us in discovering how cool computing is!
