MINUTES FROM THE PREVIOUS MEETING

EXECUTIVE ACCOUNTABILITY
Paul has announced that each week the executive will go around the table and inform the meeting of their hours and what they have been doing. Give one strength and one weakness of their performance over the previous week.
BACK TO BASICS ON THE BUDGET
Paul and Nina were to have a pre-executive meeting catch up but this didn’t happen. It is important for each executive member to understand the main budget areas. Also that students see what OUSA is spending money on. Thus this years’ executive wish to make the figures more accessible.
Nina is keen to assist the executive with their budgets etc and encourages them to pop in and see her with any queries.
VOLUNTEER SERVICES ABROAD MEMBERSHIP
A group from VSA met with Paul and Taotao to discuss the relationship with VSA, students and OUSA. It was also pointed out that if you are a member of VSA you can sit on their main Council.

LIFE CHOICE AFFILIATION
After several meetings and seeking opinions from feminist and pro-choice groups it was agreed to affiliate this group providing they abide by the rules and guidelines in their constitution.

BOTTLE BUY BACK SCHEME
The University is keen to have this held again. They will pay the costs of the skip hire and the exchange money.

Swimming Sports – a van will be leaving the Recreation Centre at 6.45pm for Moana Pool. Payal is fronting this event.
